Dr. Yu-Pin Lin received his Ph.D. degree and Master degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. Currently, he is Distinguished Professor of National Taiwan University, Taiwan and Visiting Professor in School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Harvard University, USA. He serves as an editorial board member for several international peer-review journals, especially the Editor-in-Chief of Taiwan Water Conservancy, Associate Editor of Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, Section Editor-in-Chief of Environmental Engineering and Public Health, etc. He is active in academic exchanges and serves as Conference Chair or Technical Committee Member for many international conferences. He has published over 100 papers in peer-review journals with impact factors and is author of five books. His fields of interests focus on biological and environmental modelling and assessment, sustainable development, system conservation planning, landscape ecology and planning, ecosystem services and the like.
